Our new starter employment documents fixed-fee service helps you manage your new employees. Recruiting can be a time-consuming process for small businesses. After you have advertised, interviewed candidates and possibly held assessment days, you will want to make sure your new starter employment documents are correct and compliant. This is where we come in.

Absorbing the setup, checking and issuing of employment contracts and employment documents on your behalf, you can rest assured that everything will be completed properly and in a timely manner. If you use Breathe HR, we will input your new employee’s details for you.  

We Will:

  • Draft and issue an offer letter to the new employee
  • Create and issue the employment contract
  • Calculate the pro-rated holiday entitlement for your current annual leave year
  • Complete and issue all of the new starter forms, including the bank details form, emergency contact details form, reference form, etc. Or we can guide the new starter to upload the information themselves, depending on your HR system and access levels
  • If required, request references from your new employee’s previous employers 
  • Create an employee file on Breathe HR, if your business uses this cloud-based HR system and upload the information on your behalf

How We Charge

There is an initial cost to set up your templates. We can either use your own documents, advising if they are not legally compliant and updating these for you. We can also create documents for you to use, which you will then own. This fee includes the time taken to create a process reflective of your business systems, procedures and contracts. It also includes any time taken to get relevant logins and to determine whether you use a digital signing platform. This fee is charged by the hour. 

Once we have your process and document templates created, we will charge a fixed fee for each new starter of £300.00.

Considerations

Once you’ve recruited, you need to ensure that the new employee remains with you for a reasonable amount of time, otherwise, you’ll see no return on your investment. Our HR blog about employee retention will be worth a few minutes of your time.
